Creating window pulls is the process of making a window look the same as our eye sees it. Cameras have a hard time doing this. The photo below is an edited high dynamic range photo (HDR). Overall the photo looks great but the window is overexposed.
While on site we take another photo correctly exposing for the outside and adjusting our focus point to the window.
Next we edit the outside exposure. You can see that we made the sky a lighter blue and we made the vegetation more vibrant.
Next we need to use photoshop to blend the HDR and the outside exposure together. Below shows the blend about half way done. The outside part of the window is done and the inside needs to be cleared out.
Below is the final window pull image. Also, for comparison the original HDR image is also below.
Window pulls create the best interior photos. However, they are significantly more work for us to create. For this reason we do charge more for creating them. A basic package on average takes us about 30-40 minutes to edit. A advanced package on average takes about two hours to edit. If you are looking for the best photos possible you should try our advanced package. However, we will always offer an more affordable option. If you are paying for advanced make sure to educate your sellers to clean windows. Dirty windows can look worse when pulled.
